Musculoskeletal consultation
Our Integrative Musculoskeletal Consultations focus on the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions using an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach.
Consultations are conducted by Dr Georgeta Deac (General Practitioner) and involve a comprehensive clinical assessment to determine appropriate management options based on individual needs.
What the consultation may include
-
Detailed medical history and musculoskeletal assessment
-
Review of imaging and relevant investigations (if available)
-
Discussion of contributing factors such as biomechanics, inflammation, metabolic health, nutrition, and lifestyle
-
Development of an individualised management plan
Where clinically appropriate, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections may be discussed as one of several treatment options.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is prepared from a patient’s own blood and contains a concentrated component of platelets. PRP injections are used in some musculoskeletal conditions as part of a broader management plan.
PRP is not suitable for everyone, and outcomes vary between individuals. The decision to proceed with PRP is made only after a full clinical assessment and informed consent.
