Cosmetic Mole Removal

Integrative MedAesthetics – Dr Georgeta Deac

At Integrative MedAesthetics, cosmetic mole removal is approached as a medical procedure, guided by clinical expertise, careful assessment, and respect for skin health.
All lesions are evaluated by Dr Georgeta Deac, with cosmetic removal considered only where a lesion is clinically assessed as benign and suitable for aesthetic treatment. Patient safety and diagnostic responsibility remain central to every consultation.

Comprehensive Medical Assessment

Prior to any cosmetic mole removal, a comprehensive medical assessment is required. This may include:

  • Clinical and dermoscopic examination

  • Evaluation of lesion characteristics such as size, colour, symmetry, and borders

  • Review of personal and family history of skin cancer

Lesions that raise medical concern or require further investigation will not be treated cosmetically and may be considered for biopsy or excision where clinically indicated.

Individualised Treatment Planning

Where cosmetic removal is clinically appropriate, Dr Deac will discuss:

  • The most suitable medical technique

  • Expected healing process and recovery timeline

  • Potential risks, including scarring or pigment changes

  • Post-procedure care and follow-up

Procedures are performed using evidence-based medical techniques in a clinical setting, with a focus on safety and skin integrity.

Important Medical Information

  • Cosmetic mole removal does not  treat skin cancer

  • No procedure can guarantee a scar-free outcome

  • Healing responses and aesthetic results vary between individuals

  • Histopathological assessment may be recommended in selected cases

Consultation Required

Suitability for cosmetic mole removal can only be determined following an in-person medical consultation with Dr Georgeta Deac. Not all lesions are appropriate for cosmetic treatment.
